Would really appreciate some advice (and yes I did read the FAQ), but let me explain my situation first. I’m 24 years old, I didn’t/haven’t went to college but I did graduate high school (six years ago) I’ve only ever had a part time job from September til Christmas back in 2013. Part of the reason is that I’ve been dealing with mental health problems since I was 13 (depression, anxiety and yes school was tough, I would not have made it without a 504 plan) and part of the reason is that I’m lucky enough to have some great parents who have allowed me to take it easy while trying to make myself better. Well I finally feel good enough that I want to get a job part time somewhere.I just don’t know what to put on my resume. Back in 2013 it was easy enough to say I had just graduated high school and was considering college (not considering it now because I need to work and though I feel better I don’t think I could handle a school and a job at the moment.) but now I have this huge six year gap of doing nothing, and I don’t know if I should mention the depression and anxiety. I know most minimum wage part time jobs aren’t so cutthroat as to need a perfect resume. But pretty much everywhere that you apply online has a spot to put a resume, even all the jobs that say “pick up an application in person” tell you to bring a resume... i dunno if I’m over thinking this or what, but would really appreciate someone else’s thoughts other than my parents. Really appreciate whoever takes the time to read and reply. Thanks
