Replacement Earpads - Impact on Sound?

Maybe this is a bit premature, after all the APMs are barely 12 months "old". Has anyone replaced their earpads yet? Of course, there's the original Apple replacement, but it weighs in heavily at €79 a pair. Naturally, there's a fair number of third party alternatives now. Some are imitating the mesh used on the originals, some go for silicone.. Some of these are:Geekria (silicone)Geekria Silicone APM Padskwmobile 2X (mesh)KWM Mobile APM padsAmazon (unbranded, but $40, mesh)unbranded AmazonI wonder how any of these may affect sound and/or noise isolation. Theoretically, the silicone ones should increase passive noise isolation over the mesh. I also read that some of the people who used these experienced a degradation of sound compared to the originals. Does that even make sense, as longs as the replacements are carefully manufactured?
