Getting into crafting

So I recently started experimenting a bit with crafting Biochem items and I was wondering: is it worth it for earning credits short-term? Note that I'm talking about making money ONLY; the process of creating and selling is probably interesting too to some people but I don't want to get into it if I don't profit much.The system seems complicated to me. I still don't understand how one is to acquire schematics, the exact advantages of disassembling, I need to learn what items sell well for which prices, and of course whether selling a crafted item will make me more credits than if I were to just sell the crafting ingredients instead.Perhaps it also takes a long time to really profit off of it because you need to get the best ingredients and produce a lot in order to sell it in bulk and be competitive. Again, I'm talking about more short-term profit. So, would it be worth it for me to get into Biochem, or is it only really profitable for people that are willing to commit a lot of time to it?
