Soon enough, people are not going to pay $3 for a crappy moment when they are guaranteed something as good or better every Friday. The floor for commons will decrease to $2 or possibly $1 in the next few weeks I believe. We are already seeing $3 as the "snipe" level with this release vs $4 last week. The $6 12k moments are becoming $5 12k moments.Flooding the market with packs is how TS makes money. Yes 5% on your resell is good but $2.7 million per week on their 300,000 $9 packs is almost a guarantee. They don't care about you making 10x your money. They may care about you getting your money back. Yet in the real trading card world $500 on a box of cards can net you $80 in cards and the product still sells out.It will be interesting to see where the market goes as packs become "easily attained." A lot of people are in it for the quick flip and that will die leaving the collectors behind. I am not sure what this will look like. I want to get more higher end rare cards right now but I am a little gun shy about what the plan will be for rare packs. If /499 cards are produced in various moments of the same player week after week a year from now the novelty of the /499 will wear off pretty quickly.I have heard dapper wants to have packs available to purchase anytime of the day. The insane resale values we see today are due to the fact the packs are so hard to come by. What do you guys feel will truly hold value?Personal opinion. I believe the moments themselves will become much more important in the future. Maybe even more so than the S/N. A true collector of Lebron wants a moment of "The Block" at the end of game 7 in the finals with the Cavs. Regardless if it is 35k or 1k. There are iconic moments in the past of many players. Hopefully Top Shot will be able to produce more past moments that are truly iconic rather than moments from the current season that were highlights on ESPN that week.Just some thoughts I was having and wanted to start a conversation.
