How soon after exposure is it too late?

I recently had protected sex with a man who has molluscum contagiosum. He cleverly hid the lesions from me despite there being none on his penis, they were small ones all around his thighs and one large one in his pubic area. I know that it was this because he told me it was but that it “wasn’t contagious”. Needless to say, after sex (10-15 minutes) I completely boiled my entire body in the shower but I’m not sure if I’ve done enough to somehow not get infected.How soon after exposure is it too late? I keep reading that it’s so highly contagious and it’s leading me to believe that if his lesions touched my bare skin there’s nothing I couldve done to minimise infection.
