Can you complete timed quests in a party?

Is it possible to complete the timed quest Bandits in the perimiter? with help from a party? Like I have the quest and if a party member kills a ghaz bandit will it count towards my progress?I have not found any answer to this while googeling so a awnser would be appreciated.
