TIFU bringing my girlfriend to a haunted hotel for our anniversary

Obligatory this happened yesterday. Pardon the format, I am on mobile.So for our anniversary, my girlfriend and I decided to celebrate our special day in the way that we spent our first date. We got in the car, got lost, found a pizza place and enjoyed a beautiful night.So to spice it up we decided we were going to drive a longer distance this time. So I set a pin on my phone three hours away and we took off in the car.We were about 45 minutes away from the pin when we were crossing a bridge. Upon crossing the bridge we noticed these gorgeous tutor style buildings. As we were approaching the building we saw that it was actually an inn! Much to our delight we decided to go and check to see prices and availability.We get a room and they have us sit down in the lobby. The hotel worker walked up to us and informed us that our room wasn’t ready yet. So they upgraded us for free and offered a free bottle of wine for our special day! What luck! So we were escorted to our presidential sweet and we were over the moon. We FaceTimed family and friends and told them of the luck we had!We continued our night ignoring all of the red flags. The people in this quaint little town were very nice, but something seemed off. I couldn’t put my finger on it but I got a feeling about this lovely place.Fast forward to the evening, we were celebrating the best way we know how. We were fucking. And my girlfriend got up to go clean up in the bathroom afterwards and didn’t turn the light on. And in that moment she looked in the mirror and saw what she described as a “woman in a dress with long dark hair and black rings around her eyes.” And she came back to me completely freaked out, she was speechless with fear. We immediately packed our things and walked out.On our way home we googled the place to see if anyone else experienced anything. To our surprise, we accidentally ended up in one of the most haunted towns in America. We will not be back.TL;DR tried to have a spontaneous anniversary with my girlfriend and unknowingly stayed in a notoriously haunted inn.
