Just curious if anyone else has had this problem with hands in opposite clefs, and if there are any tips.I’m currently working on Sonata in C Minor (K457) - Mozart. Between bars 36 - 44 (ish), the right hand alternates between treble and bass clefs (2 bars at a time), while the left hand just stays in the treble clef. The music is written in such a way that both hands are written in the upper stave except for the bars in which the right hand is playing in the bass clef (in which that part only moves to the lower stave). My brain is having a hell of a time wrapping its head around this - I know what the notes are by themselves. I can play the left and right hands separately. I can sometimes play them together, but I find myself having to actively pausing to double check the notes in the bass clef (for some reason, I can read bass clef fine when I’m playing it with my left hand, but there’s some sort of block when it comes to the right hand). Curious if anyone has any tips to overcome this. I don’t remember having this problem when I was younger...
