Windsor hospital and security

Can we talk about mental health and the treatment by security officers while formed? It's a conversation that needs to be had.I was formed against my own will and yes I was difficult. However, that doesn't mean I'm an object to be treated with such disrespect from security. I do believe others have been treated unfairly. Whether or not you're aggressive or unhappy for being at the hospital, security is there to de-escalate patients. My experience was the exact opposite. They were extremely rude and verbally abusive. In my opinion, they made the situation worse by not remaining calm and by using degrading words. Most people who are suicidal are highly sensitive. Calling people names and saying degrading things is not a form of de-escalation. I have been formed in the past - I suffer from extreme depression, alcoholism, and C-PTSD. I do not think my diagnosis is a statement of who I am as a person. I work, I have hobbies, I read a lot, I'm educated, and even listing these makes me feel like I have to excuse why the way I was treated was so bad. A security officer told me to piss myself. I was called degrading names and treated without respect. I have made a complaint and I have contacted CBC News because the interaction with the Patient Advocate via email was not thorough. They investigated themselves and found no wrong-doing. I have been there before and was never treated so horribly and it was two security guards that only escalated the situation. I don't care if I have mental health issues or if I'm "aggressive or difficult"; that is not an excuse to completely degrade a person. I would like to hear other's experiences as I have never experienced such degradation and name calling.Thank you for your time.
