What's up with the hate against Billie Eillish all of a sudden?

I read numerous times on highly upvoted comments that people don't like her as a person and have a huge prejudice against her. People also hate her fans or something (I live under a rock). They don't even know her music though...I'm a 25 yo dude and I get that there's a young following behind her, but her music is genuinely good and she seems down to earth and really talented. I hate mainstream music most of the time, but she's an exception. I don't listen to it religiously, but the amount of prejudice/ hate against her is uncalled for...
