Hello,I am a recent graduate who’s been working in the software engineering field. Even though Im a white collar worker, I still do all the maintenance on my cars and never take it to the dealership or an Indy (in case I need a lift I use my old high schools garage). I have been looking at the CLS55 AMG for quite some time now (the w219 body style has been my favourite Mercedes so far ever since I saw the CLS320’s in Europe 10 years ago, and not even the two newer generations beat it. The other option (more expensive, but more sensible?) would be C450 AMG. Which one of these is more reliable and better as a daily driver? I drive about 20-25 km daily, and I’ve read that the M113k is a pretty bulletproof and reliable engine (but I’ve read that quite a bit of suspension parts might go wrong on it, but I’m not really too worried about it since I’ll be installing everything myself), and the fuel efficiency isn’t the best (again not too worried, as this will be a different beast than a stupid F150/ram/other suv that uses the same amount of gas). Would anyone who has either one of these be able to chip in?
