Representative episodes of the last decade

I am a Brazilian podcast addicted that just now is able to listen to English podcast without too much effort.I know by name some important English spoken podcasts, such as This American Life, Serial, The Daily, but never listen to then too much. I think that just following then and listening the last episodes won't give me the big picture.I would like to listen a representative sample of the Anglo-American podcast culture of the five to ten years. The most remarkable episodes, in your own judgment, of the most important podcasts.I want to start in sometime in the future some sort of review of podcasts product and I think I need to get a deep understanding of what English spoken podcasts are.
