I don’t get it

I don’t understand any of this. Do people want a new Pokémon game every year of do they want them to slow down and take their time. Sword and shield just came out like 6 months ago and people are asking for another game? I mean, either you get a game every year, or you get a game every few years maybe even longer, but it’s not apparently the downfall of everyone’s childhood. I’m no expert in Pokémon or anything, but like, I played sapphire and that game sucks ass. It felt like a chore to play. I like sword and shield (specifically shield as that’s the one I have). I like the new mechanics and I like the raid battles. I think shield is way better than sapphire. There wasn’t a national dex in that game. I don’t even know what that really means. Is that all Pokémon appear in the game, or all Pokémon are compatible to be put into the game. Why is gamefreak so bad? I mean, they’re a corporation, so they probably aren’t saints, but I mean like, don’t they have to put out another game every year? Why take the time to make a perfect game when people just want more next year? And also, what’s so bad about DLC? I mean, I’d rather pay 30 bucks for more stuff than what making the game again and having to buy that? Like when I learned emerald had more Pokémon in it, I was like what the hell? Why’d get sapphire if emerald is better? That’s dumb. And don’t the kids who got sun or moon feel like shit when in a year they release just a better version of the game. I don’t get it. How is dlc not an improvement over that? I mean, in a perfect world, people would be patient and wait for a company or developer to release the game that they want to and then judge it on its own merits right? I just don’t get it. I think the whole more than one game this has always been horribly scummy and I don’t get why people expect a company that extorts you for 2 games, hell maybe even 2 more when the make a better version of the games you just bought. I think people need to stop being so demanding and to stop forcing what they want onto a developer and instead, give the poor bastard a choice in how he makes his own damn game. But what do I know? I’ve only played 2 Pokémon games and I always liked Yu Gi Oh better. I’m just trying to understand why people are so up in arms about a game that as far as I’m concerned is a pretty damn good game that I enjoyed and I’m excited to support further when I pick up the dlc.
