Hello reddit,I'm computer shopping and am eyeing an imac, I primarily use Photoshop Layer Comps for boards. I'm aware that a lot of players can eat up the system and slow it down quite a bit, but I need upwards of 60+ active layers for what I do, not counting the layer comps. I've been eyeing IMacs with 16GB of RAM, i5 processor (it's all that's available on Bestbuy) but I wonder if thatll be enough? As a story artist I need to be fast, and I need a computer that will keep up while handling a heavy load. Any suggestions? I'm desperate :(
