I work with my roommate at the same company, I caught him taking photos of me without my consent, got into an argument and said he’ll make me regret it if I say anything about it. Should I report this to the company?

I work at the same company as my roommate. He is full time and I am part time. I caught him taking photos and videos of me in our home without my consent to send to someone who doesn’t like me. An argument started, he tried to attack me, and he said I’ll regret it if I try anything.We now haven’t talked in three weeks and with Covid we all are currently not working. A lot of times the company will give him information to pass onto me. Our company has about 75 employees.I don’t really know if there is an option for me here. Am I able to report this to HR just to have on record even though it didn’t happen at work? I don’t want him telling them I don’t want to come back to work or him making some kind of false report on me.What are my options here?
