How does Spotify check that all members under the ‘Family Plan’ premium service are living at the same household?

From what I’ve read online, Spotify has the right to randomly ask for re-verification of address, and that it does this using Google maps. Does this involve simply typing in the same address as the other users, or is it done by using Google Maps to automatically pinpoint your location? Thanks.
