What side effects am I realistically looking at if I use minodoxil while I have product in my hair?

I use a leave in conditioner (otherwise my hair is poofy) and I would like to begin applying minodoxil to my temples and front hairline as I’ve clearly begun receding. However, I cannot wash my hair every single day as it dries it out (I have curly hair). Nor is it feasible for me to wash it then wait around for it to dry in the morning for example. If it isn’t an option, what ways have you addressed this issue?
