small food reserve.

Some time back well before the CV hit I suggested we have small food reserve of tinned foods, sealed packet foods just in case of a blocked highway, fires(!), and so on. My uber wife snapped at the idea and her reply had wt all over it. Well, what did she say? "You dont know if we will be here or where we might be". Later she mentioned something about sharing.. Oh like hell! In a situation of dire need the last thing for ones own safety would be jw all blabbing about the stuff they got from....I said to her "what of the wise maidens and their oil lamps". That caused her to reflect and she went off muttering..So I draw from this that unless the suggestion/order/requirement to have a modest food store comes the gb then its is a bad idea.QED.
