Looking for inputs here - here is my mortgage scenario:Mortgage loan: $136,700Monthly mortgage: $1672Interest rate: 3.75%There is also the interest write-off of $13K per years.I can pay off the mortgage now - but here is one thought...invest $136,700 into Vanguard ETFs (aggressive: 10-12% ARR estimated). In five years, the investment could potentially increase as follows:ARR 5%: $175,500ARR 8%: $ 204,400ARR 10%: $225,000ARR 12%: $250,000Potentially, I can save $75K through $100K - but there are many variables:Recession in 2020/21 could potentially reduce my gains to 0 or even less than $136,700 that I have right now. Will appreciate your ideas and recommendations.
