I am a rising senior (undergrad) and am looking to apply for a PhD in statistics for autumn 2020. My grades are not insanely good but I have done well in all statistics classes, and I think I am fairly qualified. I have been looking for months now about programs to apply to, but I find that many of these programs are too high-ranking for me, and I am afraid of a worst-case-scenario where I don’t get admitted into any of the programs I apply to.That being said, does anyone know of any programs that are “under the radar,” in the sense that they are acceptable programs but are not extremely difficult to get into?
