So I have had my nipples pierced for a little over 3 yrs now and ive been having trouble with them since year 2. My piercings constantly get the annoying piercing bump on both sides. Ive tried tea tree oil but that doesn't help. The only thing that helps the swelling go away is soaking them with warm water either with a shot glass or just in the shower. Mine were pierced with curved surgical steel barbells. I went to a piercer to look at them and they said they look fine but switched me out to longer barbells so i can have more room and told me give it some months to calm down. Idk what to do i feel like theyre just not healing or is this normal with nipple piercings ?
