I have terribly low self esteem and confidence. My mom in particular has a habit of immediately telling me that no I can’t do anything. Especially if she hasn’t seen me do it. So I have that rolling around my head. If anyone gives me a compliment, that’s my first response is they must be lying. I’m really terrible and they just want me to not feel bad. I want to know honestly how I play. I’ve played piano since I was 3 (I’m 38 now). So how do I get an honest evaluation?
