Because this section is really taking me out of the game.I was having a grand old time in Velen, but I got to novigrad and the pacing seemed to stop dead in its tracks.The extended series of quests to find Dandelion feels like a serious chore - a loooot of dialogue, none of it particularly interesting, very little combat or gameplay in between, and it all feels unnecessarily padded out. I talked to 5 of his lovers only to discover very little at all. Were 5 npc’s really necessary there? I then just helped Priscilla construct an entire play to get Dudu’s attention. None of this is very enjoyable and it feels a little indulgent.I thought I was just losing interest in the game, but I then decided to head to Skellige with half of my Novigrad quests unfinished, and I was completely compelled again.I also find the city itself quite difficult to navigate, which doesn’t assist.My plan now is to blow through the main questline and leave this place in the dust. Skellige is calling me...
