Tldr:My friend saw how much money I was making on Bitcoin, decided to invest at all time highs. Since then he has a series of mental health issues and developed severe learning difficulties. Now he owes the wrong people and his portfolio has gone down and wants me to manage his portfolio.Hi Reddit,I'm not planning on relvealing much info about me or my friend so I will use fake names. Me and my friend Jake have been best friends since early childhood. Last year around August I joined the worldof crypto. I studied the market, read books on trading, did my research and most importantantly did not invest money I could not afford to loose. All the hard work payed out and I madea small fortune day trading Bitcoin and other crypto's. January comes and Bitcoin is parablic in price. I decied a few months prior not to be greey and cash out a large portion of my portfolio and now I cashedeverything out, secured my profits. My friend saw how well I was doing and asked if he should invest in Bitcoin. I told him no, no, no. You're bassicaly pissing money into the wind buying Bitcoin at the end of a bull run.He did not listen to me. He bought right at the top on the last few days of the bull run.A few weeks pass and he tells me that he is loosing money, I'm like yeah I told you not to buy at all time high's. For the next few month's Jake insisted, I managed his portfolio. I declined and declined. This was my first bear market and I knew I was going to loose Jakes money no matter how much risk mittigation I put on his account. I told Jake to open up an ISA and re invest his money into that. Again and again he declined.Since Jake invested, he has been through more than what 10 fully grown men should ever have to go through. Lot's of personal stuff have happend, that has no place on this reddit post. This has resulted him into selfaddmiting himself to a pcyhiatric ward for a few months of his life. Jake got put on a cocktail of, experimental drugs and was in part of a study. Now Jake has a pletharar of mental health issues, and learning difficulties. He is and allway's will be my best friend. Now he owes the wrong people, thousands. As much I know it's his fault for investing, I take some responsiblity for not managing his portfolio.Since leaving the ward Jake lives off the goverment and has no interest in working, recently moved to his first house and has a dissablity allowence. Last night I told him to strongly think about cashing out now,or me managing the portfolio.I really don't know what to do in this situation. I personally belive that Bitcoin is finaly on the verge of a bull run, and re-invested. But that's my decision to make, about my money. I know I might be wrong, and it might be a bull trap. Jake told me he want me to tripple his money so he can pay off his debts. This is really an unfair thing to say as I'm not a stock market wizzard who can see the future. I don't know IfI can even make money. I don't know what to do, should i play this game for him and risk his money for the chance to get his moeny back, or do I tell him to cash out and accept it as a learning curve. These people thathe owes money too are not nice people and If they found out where he lived would probably go to jail for what they do to him. It's stressful investing in crypto with your own dispossible money, never mind your friends money when it's not disposible. I'm getting a train to vist Jake and on friday and want to have solid idea on where to go forward. I don't know if anyone here on reddit has any ideas, suggestions or feedback. But I would love to hear it. Thanks for reading this long post.Cheers.[HackHut@archlinux Documents]$
