So long story short, I've looked into this matter on various sources of if these two crimes would ever prohibit me from buying a gun in the future, and the answer has looked like that it won't. However, the term "violent crime" has always popped up to describe crimes that would prohibit ownership if I committed one of them, and I'm not sure if these two fall under that.I understand that it probably isn't a very official term, but would they be considered violent? I know that I never did anything violent then with the mistake I made, but if looked at just on a background check, would they be considered one?
