Upgrade hard drive or keep old one

I currently have a budget PC and I'm going to build a new PC soon, but I'm not sure if I should keep my current 1TB Hard drive or buy a new faster one. current hard drive: TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 ATA Device (1TB 7200rpm)
