SP4 Phantom Touches and Refurb Replacement Process.


I bought a SP4 over the summer and 2 months after purchase my touchscreen started having touch input problems. There's a vertical bar on the right side of the screen that just goes nuts. I've tried all the fixes. The re-calibration only works for about 4 minutes. Now that I have winter break. It looks like I'll have to send it in, which disappoints me tremendously. Will the replacement I receive be of a lower quality? I spent extra to purchase one brand new when I could have bought one used or refurbished and to have a problem so soon.Will they actually repair my device or send me just a refurb unit? Will I have my ssd or a used one. The same question with the battery. I really work hard to conserve my battery and limit recharge cycles since it's so difficult to replace. Am I gonna get a junky used one? thanks
