Last week, Haseo continued his quest through the Forest of Pain event. He met Saburou who had been sent to watch him by Pi, and Taihaku, the guild master of Icolo. The three of them discussed the event's prize, and Saburou theorized that the event had no prize and was not created by CC Corp in the first place. Tri-Edge caught up to Ovan and attacked him, but was defeated through unknown means when Ovan unlocked the metal cylinder on his arm.This week, Haseo and Taihaku continue their separate ways through the Forest of Pain. After attempting to follow Taihaku in the last episode, Saburou finds herself alone in the forest and under-leveled. She is rescued by Haseo and as thanks, she gives him her remaining recovery items, along with her member address before warping out, therefore forfeiting the challenge. Taihaku and Haseo each reach the end of the Forest of Pain separately. There, they each find an AI Harold who asks them a question. Taihaku answers kindly while Haseo answers rudely. Taihaku is bequeathed the sword he found in the forest, but Haseo is roughly ejected from the forest, and his character is forcibly upgraded to it's 3rd form.
