Sire M7 vs ... Ibanez/Warwick/Anything at about 700Eur

Hi all, yet another hard deliberation thread.I am set on ordering a new bass and few accessories from Thomann, and while I wait for all of it to be in stock, I read around reviews. So far I settled for the Sire M7 in black ash, while the following features were specifically interesting to me: 34" Scale Humbuckers with split/series/parallel switch for each. Active/Passive switch A pre-amp with mid-freq sweep and boost capability.Recently though I've read some local rants about Sire that have shaken by determination a bit, so i am trying to reconsider if this is the best bass that I can get for 600-700Eur from Thomann. In there same price range, there are basses like G&L Tribute L2000, Ibanez SR600 and SR500, a passive Warwick or two, and some Corts/ESPs I know even less about. What would you suggest, while keeping in mind that the M7 seems to combine all the features i listed and the rest - not always?Cheers
